Pre-Trip Hype
We were wondering a number of months ago about where to vacation overseas for September 2023? We had heard so many great reports on Iceland from friends. Plus, Lana was keen on doing another vacation which involved hiking or walking. She was keen on the Cotswolds in England which are northwest of London. It made sense to travel to Iceland and then continue on to England and return to Vancouver to conclude our holiday. We have good friends in London with two young children that we had not seen for a while so another opportunity. We picked September because the weather should be decent and the families will be back in school so less hectic for us tourists. Made our Air Canada flight reservations and utilized Airbnb for some of our accommodations. For Iceland we used booking.com mostly. Lots of ideas from friends for our Iceland itinerary.
